OKAY. So all this very long-winded build up had me think up of a proper end to the Shadowplay plot (finally Ty GOD YOU ASS) and I wanted to see what the playerbase thought of it since it'd be pretty big. It's important that enough people get pissed off. BASIC IDEA: Prowl is going to use his influence in the Law Committee to push for an effort to register and mark all Haven inhabitants on a database. Whether they want to or not. THE DEETSREVISED DEETSFirst, it'd pass as a law, and then it would have to be enforced by the PF. As the law starts to get enacted your character would be free to just agree with it or try to avoid being branded/given an ID (which, since Prowl is behind this shit, we can assume at least has some kind of tracking chip built in there.). Prowl, as part of the PF, would help run teams to hunt down people who are attempting to ollie out of the plan (and perhaps be a little eager to do so). Any characters involved are free to object or respond how they normally would, of course. Would they follow orders? Or would they defect/disobey them? The Plot will end when he pursues IDW Megatron under the false prospect of merely IDing him while secretly planning on having Chromedome lobotomize the crap out of his brain. He's discovered and his plans are revealed publicly before he does so. He and Chromedome then have to deal with the aftermath. EDIT: I'll be making a sign-up post later if this is approved! Thoughts? Suggestions? Plans? Is this something you guys would like to participate in?

Hey guys! Just providing you all with an update since some events have been reshuffled to make this a clean wrap-up. I appreciate your patience. The Shadowplay event will be reaching it's Endgame sometime by the end of January/February.
What does this mean for you?
In a few weeks, Megatron(IDW) will be making a post that will be challenging the set establishment of the Haven, and Starscream will be stepping up to oppose him for some good 'ol Decepticon in-fighting.
Prowl, for reasons that will be revealed later, will be interested in fanning the flames of this conflict. He'll be most intent on giving Starscream bodies in the form of supporters to his position, but will have other roles to set for the other agents at hand. Your character's role will be simple, in that when the time comes they will be given a rather unusually convincing suggestion via an anonymous text to begin to take sides (and later delete the message, of course.).
The suggestion in question will nudge them towards Starscream's line of thinking, but if you feel even with that it is too out of line for your character to follow, then we can find some other way to participate. Just know that they'll have a very strong inclination to get involved in the discussion at hand.
EXTRA NOTE: It'd also be super helpful to confirm the current list I have of Shadowplay participants! If your character was added here by mistake/you don't want them to participate/etc. then message me and I'll fix it. As always, any new participants are always welcome, though the actual mindtweaking will need to be handwaved/discussed OOCly.

Hello R/A, so as you may well know, several parties in the game have been prepping to assemble and attempt to capture the Haven's resident DJD representative , Tarn. Due to the large number of players involved (20+!), it will be handled via Mini-fates, similar to Megatron's Badlands plot. The results will be based on the assets and numbers of each side. The event itself it going to take place early to mid next week, near August 26th. Be sure to account for possible recovery from injury or death, so consider it around a week in length. As Tarn is a super robot with no qualms against violence, and his best buddy Kaon can electrocute a Cybernought, it's expected that the Police Force and Wreckers will take some hits and deaths in the conflict. Taking a look at Tarn's abilities will be helpful to know what you'll be signing up for. Before tallying up how the event will go out, we will need to get your permission for what can happen to your characters. It's going to be opt in rather than opt out, so we're going to assume you do not want any severe injuries/death to your characters if you don't reply to this and you are part of the group involved. Additionally, replying to this doesn't guarantee that your character will die or get severely wounded, but it leaves the option open when the assets are gathered. NOTE: if you want your character to die or consider it an option, make sure to fill out a death request to clear it with the modsJust answer yes/no to these questions below, and you'll be well on your way to your fun DJD Infiltration Adventure! Note: If you have any specific ideas with how you want your interaction with Tarn to go, feel free to ping Mmejack (Tarn's player) at chimering on plurk and/or in the form above so we can try to include it when we figure out the narrative of the events.

***Updated: 6/15***Hey folks. So I'm finally getting this going and just in time for Re/Alignment's first anniversary! You probably got the basic gist from Wing's network post so here are the rest of the details. Much of this is still flexible/tentative so keep an eye on this post for any changes. The Games will last for three days, starting sometime the week of June 24th. (the 21st is the actual anniversary day, but I will be out of town on vacation at that time.) The location I'm thinking could be a crater in Nexus's quadrant, since it's fitting and sort of near the bar/Hub. The big thing here to note is that I want anyone to be able to contribute to this. It's a co-op, Bring Your Own Activity type event. I'll make the framework, setup the log, and then there'll be a spot that people can create a subthread for any activity they wish to organize and run both OOC and IC. (please try to keep it to one activity per person so we don't get overloaded/spread out) Want to organize an event but you don't have a character who would do it ICly? Team up with someone! The event is opt-in though, you don't have to participate if you don't want to. Any winners will be decided by RNG, facilitated by the person running that activity. Organizing an event is easy. At minimum, you need: - Decide the details of said activity.
- Send me a 1-2 sentence summary to add to the open log description.
- Post a scene (just like you would in a log) featuring the activity when the open log goes up so people can mingle there.
- OPTIONAL: If you want to decide winners then you can look at who tagged in as a participant and RNG to find a winner.
Here's the event ideas that came out of my plurk about this. THIS IS JUST A START. Suggestions welcome. Any of this can happen at the Games but if you want a mingle area for it someone needs to take charge of it.
Claimed Activities: - Airshow: (Wing organizing, Swoop to do a night performance)
- Scavenger Race: One mech and one humanoid must team up to fetch various items from each FF quadrant. Kind of like Amazing Race. (Drift organizing)
- Drag race or short-med distance race like 300 meters? (Knock Out organizing. We might not have roads done so we'll have to smooth some of the flat terrain.)
- Marksmanship competition (Strelok organizing, needs the help of a Cybertronian)
- Karaoke at the bar (Ravage will help but needs supervision)
- Medic tent (Red Alert organizing, Ambulon & Barricade volunteered to assist)
Unclaimed: - Hauling: Feat of strength aimed at strong grounders/tanks but humanoids are welcome to compete as well. Could be either as a race altogether or each sees how far they can get in a specific time limit.
- Feat of strength that’s more human friendly (take something from Highland games?)
- General talent competition? Dancing, poetry, singing, musical performance, etc.
- Smaller carnival type games: tossing ping-pong balls, water pistols, pachinko machine?
- Paintball War *new
- Aerial obstacle course *new
- Any others? Suggestions welcome!
Anyone who wants to organize a game or activity let me know and I'll add it to the claimed list above. I'd like to avoid duplicate/similar activities so please check the list and replies here first. Thanks!

So! Chromedome and Prowl happen to be up to their old tricks and have been forming a plan together for quite some time. This new Cybertron needs order and the best way to get that order is through Shadowplay. Chromedome will be using his mnemosurgery on individual members of the Haven, putting them under Prowl's control. Will said characters know that they're brainwashed? Nope! They'll go one with their lives until Prowl needs them to do something. Basically they'll be sleeper agents, cool yes?
So the basic timeline goes like this:
>Chromedome and Prowl decide to try to brainwash Tarn >They fail and Chromedome dies >They try again later and succeed (with some help from Liege?) >From there they'll start picking out Decepticons to use, starting with the Starscreams >After they're all done, the Autobots get their turn because lol morals
Sounds fine so far? Let's look at our current roster of volunteers:
Tarn Starscream (DW) Starscream (TFP) Skids Bulkhead Fracas Barricade
If your character is on the law committee or the police force, odds are they'll get priority. If you wish to take part and/or have any questions, please feel free to comment here so Ty can answer!

Shockwave's been rather reclusive and locked up in his hidey hole. Of course, he hasn't been loafing about all that time, he's been creating a large fleet of hovering drones. The drones themselves are disk-like and small by Cybertronian standards (only about 3 feet in diameter). They aren't armed and they aren't aggressive(unless aggressively scanning counts), but there sure are a lot of them. Their purpose? To map out every square inch of the Haven they can squeeze into( Think of the spectragraphs from Prometheus). They will be traversing over large swaths of land and going into the Temples to see what they can find. They'll swoop in, scan, and leave. They also will travel individually, there won't be any groups sticking together. Naturally, I'm going to assume all character locations are locked (and thus inaccessible) unless otherwise stated. If you want to have a drone snooping about your character's location feel free to post about it after Feb 20th. I'll be tossing up a Comm Post by next Friday, Feb 22, where I'll play the drones if you want someone to interact with them. ( Read more... )UPDATE: The post will be moved to the 24th-25th

This is in response to Shockwave's call out for those with a Megatonus glyph. Because I am good at organizing and getting this ooc post up on time, clearly. Shockwave's been given the task of basically scoring how well all of Megatronus' fight, and so to do that he needs to fight everyone - willing or not. That means there's 13 people (as I write this anyway) that he'll be actively trying to get a hold of and into the arena. Now this is where those of you with characters that have a Megatronus glyph come in. Contacting you all this way means I can be lazy and not have to track you all down separately. I'd like to know how each of you would like to go about this. Handwaving, logging, whateverthehell elsing. ETC! Just let me know and we will work stuff out! ( notey things for the fights )

Hi guys~ Recently Blurr got mod approval of find with a turbofox. They robot-fox like creatures that run like they're on speed and can be trained with effort (but they usually aren't all that bright). I was thinking that, since the Lambda is the reason why the turbofox arrived to the planet all of sudden and the best is confused and nervous, some chars might cross path with something blue-ish that goes really fast. So fast they can't probably see it properly, not even when the turbofox is making them trip or running over the things the mechs are working on: like building in construction, it can get inside the medbay, people's workshop, rooms, etc... Your mechs are free to post about it, either blaming Blurr or telling him to find what the hell is going on. What do you think?

OKAY.
I need a way for Catwoman to get from Solus' Temple to Vector's since there is quite a distance between them. I'd like to get her there without really being seen since she's going to sneak around all Catwoman-y.
So if anyone has a giant robot or a quick way to travel from point a to point b that she could sneak a ride on, I'd appreciate it.
