Send in the Probes (Plotting Post!)
Shockwave's been rather reclusive and locked up in his hidey hole. Of course, he hasn't been loafing about all that time, he's been creating a large fleet of hovering drones. The drones themselves are disk-like and small by Cybertronian standards (only about 3 feet in diameter). They aren't armed and they aren't aggressive(unless aggressively scanning counts), but there sure are a lot of them.
Their purpose? To map out every square inch of the Haven they can squeeze into(Think of the spectragraphs from Prometheus). They will be traversing over large swaths of land and going into the Temples to see what they can find. They'll swoop in, scan, and leave. They also will travel individually, there won't be any groups sticking together.
Naturally, I'm going to assume all character locations are locked (and thus inaccessible) unless otherwise stated. If you want to have a drone snooping about your character's location feel free to post about it after Feb 20th. I'll be tossing up a Comm Post by next Friday, Feb 22, where I'll play the drones if you want someone to interact with them.
Here's some more deetz:
* The drones are fairly disposable and expected to disappear. Destroying a couple will go about unnoticed, but vaporize a large group of them and it will probably attract Shockwave's attention. He may just need to visit this place in person.
* Considering Shockwave programmed them himself, tampering with the drones electronically will require a fairly high degree of skill(any scientists/engineers/tech-focused characters fit the bill). Attempts to hack them or tamper with them will result in them self-destructing unless your character is quick/skilled enough to disable the defense mechanisms.
* If the probe is hacked, one could figure out where it's transmitting it's scans: to a computer somewhere within Liege's quadrant(ie. Shockwave's creepy basement). It'd also be clear that they're sending back coordinates and data for the construction of a 3D map of the Haven.
What for? Well, that would require further investigation.
UPDATE: The post will be moved to the 24th-25th

He's unaware of Shockwave around, but he'd probably go ballistic once he knows.

Think of all the fun times they had together. <3
Did you miss him? He certainly missed you.
