ALL RIGHT.
So this is the thing I mentioned awhile back when I first got SG!Soundwave here.
Like most of his other fellow Soundwave incarnations, he has very sensitive sound equipment; this basically equates him to being in simple terms a "telepath". He interprets processor/organic brain electrical signals, translates it into thoughts, and therefore he can read minds. Soundwave here, though, being terribly not-so-fond of it, is not very refined of this skill.
So two questions:
(A) Can Soundwave read your mind? If there's an IC reason, cool! If you're just uncomfortable with it, that's fine.
(B) Because Soundwave is massively unrefined and will rarely use this skill, this means when he sleeps next to someone (organic or otherwise) he will pick up on their dreams and end up dreaming them himself. If Soundwave goes into recharge nearby your character, can he dream their dreams and if so, what would they be like on a semi-regular basis? (Nightmares about Unicron in a dress, dreams about a giant Matrix made of chocolate, etc.)

And Ratchet's dreams... I don't really know. I don't feel like Soundwave will be sleeping anywhere near sleeping!Ratchet anytime soon, though XD

So because it's not-so-refine does than mean he doesn't have control over it. Like he gets background noise and SUDDEN LOUD THOUGHTS when a person he's hear is thinking really hard? Or feeling strong emotions?
Soundwave would likely learn that Wing is quite genuine but also exercises a great deal of restraint in a variety areas. >:3
I need to tag the poop out of him. Because seriously I think they'd be bros.

B) If he's having nightmares Blurr dreams about Longarm, Shocwkave and that time when he got crushed into a cube. He (mostly) never sleeps inside the temple, if he wants to recharge he turns into his car alt mode and sleeps like that. Which make it easy for someone to catch him resting outside. The silly dream one probalby involve Bumblebee, Jazz, oo the Jetfire/Jetstorm twins in some fashion.

B. Yes.

B) Yes!

As for the second, if the scenario were to come up, I see no problem with it. But again, Wreck-Gar's dreams would be a hodge-podge of television stuff.

A: Yes. Pscream's thoughts are a tangled sort of web coloured by his less then perfectly stellar sanity levels though. So feel free to have Soundwave not get a perfect picture and/or be a little confused on what he's reading if you want!
B: Yes. But watch out, one dream will probably be enough to send Soundwave off to the other end of the building furthest away from PScream. Y'see, Starscream only ever dreams about being victimized by Megatron these days, and that's not ... much fun for anyone to relive. Oops.
IDW Rung
A: Yes. Dude's just a decent well meaning guy.
B: Go for it. Rung probably has mostly peaceful dreams about his version of Cybertron's good old days. Also, tiny little model ships. Lots of those.

Jetfire: Usually, I'd go with no, he's a pretty disciplined guy, but if he's distracted (fighting comes to mind) or injured, then yes.
Aand I don't really headcanon them being capable of "normal" dreaming as humans do, unless imposed by something or a specific (intended) viewing of a memory or similar, so that'd depend on the situation.

Pharma's dreams are mostly medical in nature and they'd probably involve Tarn and removing T-cogs. Good dreams are him getting praise and promotion, bad ones are his rep being ruined.
Lol TFA Starscream's dreams? Not hard to guess really. Good ones involve getting everything he thinks he deserves and bad ones are being in pain, dieing, being humiliated by Megatron- that kind of stuff.

Samus : Inside her suit, any thoughts / dreams she had would probably be heavily garbled and riddled with interference. Once she takes the helmet off, he should have no problem though.
Dreams would involve either space-travel and exploration, or if they took a darker turn, being alone in the galaxy and intense feelings of loss.
If it's a nightmare, expect space dragons.

Since you've seen BP, you probably know the gist of McCraney thoughts...worrying about what they're going to do next, hoping Seia is alright back on earth, hoping his team-mates will be alright, considering the most efficient method to do x, wondering if he can make bullets for his shotgun, etc.
I wonder if the BP dream?

A) Totally okay with this, though Barricade will be somewhat wary about it. Too many people in his brain D::
B) Also cool with this! Most of his nightmares tends towards the loss of Frenzy/Bonecrusher/Cybertron and are generally war-torn and upsetting. The nice dreams tend to be (cough) 'facing dreams with a variety of mechs or schmoopy cuddles with Frenzy or Bonecrusher
are you sensing a theme.Noisy Boy
A) Not entirely sure how the Real Steel bot's processors work, but I'm cool with this!
B) When Noisy Boy is recharging he's technically turned completely off, so he probably doesn't dream. On the plus side, Soundwave would have blissfully dreamless sleep probably?

why would he have any guard up around Soundwave???Miko I don't see any problems with, though for a her there is a lot of 'Bulkhead, I miss Bulkhead, Oh look a shiny, Bulkhead would like to see that... I miss Bulkhead.' and her dreams center around him too, good would be him being around and her having fun with him and Wheeljack (fun qualifies as playing rock music, crazy, sometime dangerous, adventures and that kind of stuff), nightmares are of Bulkhead, Wheeljack and/or Ratchet hurt/dying and not being able to do things to help them or even get to their sides. Since she is Nexic as well (cause that is Soundwave's, right?) there is possibly a high chance he could end up sleeping near where she is sleeping.

Optimus and Sari are fine for both, though they both might be a bit...weird, given their status as canon oddballs. :V
