Hello, players, and welcome to Re/Alignment!

This is Mindy using the mod journal to post a greeting to you all. I'm your Head Mod, aka the local despot - player of Prima, Nexus Prime, and Vector Prime. Assisting me is a whole bunch of others whom I'll let introduce themselves. TL;DR awesome team is awesome.

At present, our tentative start date is a week from now; June 21st. This is to let us get in a few more players, work out a few last kinks in the system, and basically get as prepared as we can to run this new game. Any kinks/errors/etc you see, please do us a favor and point it out!

No, really. Do. (For example, I just noticed that the current Accept(ed) blurb doesn't mention the Player Contact page. Mind filling that out for us?)

ANYWAY. You can hit me up on plurk as artoni, on AIM as 'twixtthestreams' (I'm often invis, so just shoot me a message if you need to get in contact with me), or here on DW as artoni as well. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help make things more awesome for you, but for now, make sure you're acquainted with all the help pages - setting, FAQ, world, etc.

Heeeeelllo! I just got accepted yesterday, wooo~! I am EXCITE!

I offer you Wing from TF:IDW comics, a charitable white knight idealist with a stubborn side. I'm ladyofdragons all over the net, but as we have another player named Lady I'll offer my first name Sarah as an alternative. Either works for me! n__n

I've been a hardcore roleplayer for many years but never in the DW/LJ format, so if I do something NEWBISH please feel free to educate me. :D

I think I might be the oldest person here. Don't let that fool you though, for I am also prone to full-frontal dorkage. Which, thankfully for Wing, has an off button. 8|

OH I forgot to mention! I love all kinds of RP and I am a devious mun so plotting is encouraged! :D

IM info is on the contact page, but I'm also ladyofdragons on Tumblr, Twitter and Plurk, though I've never actually used my Plurk (a lot of people here seem to though? Are there benefits to it I should consider?)

Plurk is a pretty big social networking site among the DWRP crowd. Not everyone uses it, of course, and it does have its detractors, but a LOT of the DWRPers I know use it pretty heavily for keeping in touch with/plotting with muns in their games. Again it's totally not the only way to communicate with other players-- there's always AIM, AIM chats, and things like plotting posts in the OOC community-- but it does make it easier.
