Shadowplay Finale Plotting! (Gauging Interest)
OKAY.
So all this very long-winded build up had me think up of a proper end to the Shadowplay plot (finally Ty GOD YOU ASS) and I wanted to see what the playerbase thought of it since it'd be pretty big. It's important that enough people get pissed off.
BASIC IDEA: Prowl is going to use his influence in the Law Committee to push for an effort to register and mark all Haven inhabitants on a database. Whether they want to or not.
THE DEETS
REVISED DEETS
First, it'd pass as a law, and then it would have to be enforced by the PF. As the law starts to get enacted your character would be free to just agree with it or try to avoid being branded/given an ID (which, since Prowl is behind this shit, we can assume at least has some kind of tracking chip built in there.).
Prowl, as part of the PF, would help run teams to hunt down people who are attempting to ollie out of the plan (and perhaps be a little eager to do so). Any characters involved are free to object or respond how they normally would, of course. Would they follow orders? Or would they defect/disobey them?
The Plot will end when he pursues IDW Megatron under the false prospect of merely IDing him while secretly planning on having Chromedome lobotomize the crap out of his brain. He's discovered and his plans are revealed publicly before he does so. He and Chromedome then have to deal with the aftermath.

And Blurr, as second in charge of the Police Force, I can't really see him agreeing to this. He will need to be forced to agree by McCrane, I can't say 'be convinced' because I doubt he will change his mind, but a direct order from a superior he won't object to.
I'm sorry that my boys are so hard to deal with in this particular case/plot, but I just think it's not IC for them to agree ^^'

As for Deckard . . . uh . . . n-no, not really. OTL There was mention of him working with Blurr on whatever part Blurr plays, which makes sense to me. So...there's that? Or if you come up with anything else, I'm likely down for it. *fails forever at plotting ideas*
REVISED PLOT DEETS
Essentially, a new motion will be suggested/brought through Shadowplayed Committee members by Prowl. As a response to how many people have been disappearing in the Badlands, it is suggested that some sort of monitoring system should be implemented. One that might help prevent Haven members from wandering off too far and getting lost to the Badlands. Secretly, Prowl plans to use this system to tag everyone with something a little more thorough.
The voting itself will be kept anonymous which leaves two possible options.
Option A: The motion is passed through a mix of brainwashed committee members and rigging the votes/blackmail/cheating/whatever in some way (this needs to be clarified first.) Whoever wants to Opt In OOCly can be one of the first to be registered. Whoever doesn't want to participate can Opt Out of the actual tagging.
Option B: The motion is hotly debated and takes some time for it to process. Details are discussed, etc. But no one is actually tagged.
Regardless, Megatron will challenge this and fight to make the votes public. Prowl will pursue him and try to get his brain needled to shut him up. His plans get revealed bada bing bam boom. Plot done.

I'm gonna note here that Prowl isn't the one that's going to suggest it in a malicious way, nor will he be promoting it himself. I added more plot details here if that helps clarify things.
Re: Knockout being on the Defense Committee
It's sort of been established that the members of the Defense Group don't really have much control over PF operations. KO can challenge that in this if he wants, but the previous precedent was set when they ignored Tarn's stuff a while back and took it no more than a suggestion.
Maybe it's different this time around? I'd have to ask more players too.

yeah as we talked the voting seems a better option because this is a plot that otherwise will eventually affect all the players as whole and not everyone would like to participate/have their chars involved. That explains a lot, thanks for the link.
