Character Introductions and Plotting post!

Gooood evening everybody!

The official opening start time for Re/Alignment will be June 21st, 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific. (For those across the globe, feel free to poke us in here for clarification on this.)

Since this is less than two days away, we're putting up this post for everyone to introduce their characters in, and maybe start plotting who will be waking up next to or on top of whom! Will there be fights breaking out over the choicest pieces of junk on the junk pile? Medics trying to remove the mysterious glyphs? Problems understanding Japanese/Cybertronian before communicators are given out?

Yo! I'm Alba, and I'm playing a robot that is not Cybertronian. This is Gunmax, and he's a robot cop from Japan. He knows Japanese and English since he was MADE IN AMERICA, HELL YEAH.

Chances are, if a fight breaks out, he'll probably try to make some peace -- albeit a bit roughly. Unfortunately, he only has so many giant robot handcuffs. Otherwise, he's going to be confised and assume the Cybertronians are also robots from Earth because he hasn't really been exposed to sentient transforming robots outside of his planet an' all.

FROM JAPAN AND SPEAKS ENGLISH YOU SAY clearly this is a robot Noisy Boy needs to know. Especially since they're both Earth-made and Cybertronians are weird.

AWESOME. Noisy Boy will remind Gunmax of a friend back home anyway, so he'll probably be good to hang out with.

And...I don't think he knows what pacifism is, either. That must have been some serious mis-translation. Thanks, Japan.

McCrane would insist that pacifism just means finding the solution that involves the least deaths.

I have no idea. I almost feel like McCrane likes the idea of pacifism, but he sucks at emulating it? Could be a translational error.

Well, if we get a Power Joe I can be a torso with arms big enough to hold your...max...cannon.

But yeah. That's a good way of thinking about it! Could even be that he needs the idea of pacifism, since he's the one technically constructed for combat, and all the other military AI were kind of...battle hungry. It gives him something to focus on!

IT IS GOOD STUFF TO THINK ON. This show had so much deep introspection covered in a happy layer of fluff. I love talking about it.
