Character Introductions and Plotting post!

Gooood evening everybody!

The official opening start time for Re/Alignment will be June 21st, 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific. (For those across the globe, feel free to poke us in here for clarification on this.)

Since this is less than two days away, we're putting up this post for everyone to introduce their characters in, and maybe start plotting who will be waking up next to or on top of whom! Will there be fights breaking out over the choicest pieces of junk on the junk pile? Medics trying to remove the mysterious glyphs? Problems understanding Japanese/Cybertronian before communicators are given out?

Starscream is kind of an unpredictable evil fail spazz of a robot, who is king of rash decisions.

A) If your character is: weak, small, or looking the other way:

It is very likely Starscream will try to get the drop on your bloke for hysterics interrogation and cruel funsies.

B) If your character is: big, standing around some robot snacks, or looks like they're a tough cookie:

Hi, Starscream would like to be their best friend forever (until they meet any of the criteria in A) )

PS: Howdy, I'm MmeJack and I play one of the few Transforming robots who actually can't transform (right now). I've got an exam on the 21st so I won't be able to tag till later that afternoon, but I'd love for us to do an awkward tangle if any of you were game.

[Edit:] ... I think the main TFP robot cast is multilingual when it comes to major Earth languages(???), but Starscream never learned Latin, isn't very good at slang, and ... isn't that hot when it comes to alien culture in general... or fauna for that matter. (And when we say fauna, we're looking at you, humans.)

I'm excited there'll be a TFP!Starscream in the RP, he's one of my favorites. I so want Korra to interact with him. (And for a moment have her think he sounds familiar in a total ref to Steve Blum as Amon.)

I noticed you might need a plot to regain your character's T-Cog? (I wondered about that when I noticed when your pull point is.) I volunteer Korra to help with that plot if you want. I'm still not sure how it would work, but it might be interesting if TFP!Starscream succeeds in persuading Korra. Maybe Korra can draw a connection between lost T-Cog and lost bending. And Korra will probably be desperate to learn airbending which does include flight to an extent, and might grasp at straws that helping someone fly again might convince said someone to give his own insight on self-propelled flight? Though now I'm thinking of Korra trying to firebend from her feet to duplicate Starscream's engines.

Anyway, thanks again--and BTW, love your icon, that was a great moment with great animation. XD

Meanwhile I'm really excited to see Korra! Gosh, what a well written character from a surprisingly well rounded show. I'm stoked; Legend of Korra turned out to be such an unexpected breath of fresh air.

I'm a plotting monster. You cut me, I bleed plots. And I would love to have Korra involved in that, or anything else Starscream gets up to. Screamer's all about manipulation, and if he finds out that a cobbled together sob story and some puppy dog eyes will get him a tiny little walking toy soldier, he'll be all for it.

Hee, I'll try to do Korra justice.

I do like coming up with stories too, so I think I'll like plotting for RP's as well.

I think Korra would fall for a sob story and puppy dog eyes. She's still pretty naive, and pretty compassionate when not being kinda pigheaded. Things TFP!Starscream could take advantage of.

I don't know if Korra would like that wording, but I'm all HEE YES with Korra as Starscream's adopted human pet.

Thanks! Yeah, I'd love for Korra to be involved with anything Starscream gets up to, besides the T-Cog biz.

And Korra's currently interacting with Knock Out right now, Knock Out's the very first Cybertronian Korra's meeting. Since her only experience with 'robots' are Hirosi's mech tanks, she thinks she's talking with a pilot inside KO. Is she in for a surprise. XD So interaction between Starscream and Knock Out and Korra would be pretty interesting, I think.

How tall is Starscream and are these rumors my character may or may not have heard about a missing t-cog true??

Inquiring minds want to know. Will Slipstream be looking like a very big girl next to him? Will they be putting "Manipulate me" signs on the back of each others wings? will she be sitting back eating energon goodies, while he flails about unable to fly?

I ... don't actually know how tall Starscream is. Thanks for reminding me that I'll need to figure that out for myself.

And no comment on the missing tcog, Starscream just happens to be the one seeker in the world that prefers to go for long walks along the beach instead of fly to his destinations.

How tall is Slipstream? I'm not great with TFA sizes, but apparently TFA!Starscream is enormous?

.... And I'm sure there's going to be some flailing involved, if not at the very least there will be some hysterics.
