mccrane: (Pain--just a headache)

Hiatus

Many apologies for my activity crawling to a standstill. This coming weekend is a con that I work for, and I've spent the last week and a half finishing my work and home responsibilities so that I can go.

This means McCrane will not be around till November 6th. Godmod rights go Gunmax (who he usually checks in with and pals around with) and Overlord (who he has permission to be torn apart by.)

This also means that Megatron is gonna be late to the Glyphless party.

He'll make up for it, he promises.

EVENT REMINDER & DEATH UPDATE

Hey folks!

This is a reminder that The Call is now active, and will be until the end of the 31st. As a reminder, the first few days will have it slowly building, and in the latter two things will actually Get Real.

After the Call comes The Glyphless, which will take place for the entirety of November. Those of you who have already been approved as Glyphless, please remember not to post until the 1st. For those still waiting - soon! All apps are set to be processed before the event starts.

In addition...

With the deaths that have been happening, we're adjusting our handling on it a bit. We are A) Now giving them their own page, B) Making them approval-based, rather than notif-based. In other words, you'll have to run the potential death by us mods, first, before you do it!

We've always had a system set up for Death and 'returning' from it; it's never been our plan to make it a final end. Transformers has multiple examples of characters who have died coming back, through whatever means, and it's certainly not the only genre. However, we've now put the finishing touches on our behind-the-scenes work on death, and want you to make sure you know what you're getting in to by killing off your character. As well as for our own nefarious purposes...

PLEASE NOTE that characters that have already been planned to be killed off as part of the Overlord plot will not require permission, as they're essentially grandfathered in; however, we do need you to note the deaths on the new page, please!
