What's to come after game's end

Hi guys, Lunnaei here.  As some of you probably know by now I'm working on a sequel game to RA.  I and a few others are working things out right now, getting basic plot, NPC's, comms, and all the logistics of a game set up.  For those of you who didn't know about this yet, I wanted to make you aware, and give everyone a chance to come over to the new game.

One of the reasons I'm creating this new game is to allow current RA muses to keep the CR built here.  Anyone currently in the game, who wishes to come to the new game will be able to keep all CR from RA (and will be automatically accepted too, apps for current RA members will be a formality "for the records"), in fact, game start will take place immediately after end game.  More details for that will be available after end game has wrapped up.

I'm posting this here for two reasons really,
1. I want to give everyone a chance to ask questions, or to sound in with things they might like to see in a sequel game.
2. I'd like to get an idea of how many characters might be joining the new game.

I'm really sad to see RA leaving even though I've only been in the game for a really short time, and I guess I'm just not ready to let it go.  I want to thank the mods of RA, they've done an amazing job with the game and all the plots.  I hope the new game can live up to the amazing game that RA has been.

Hey, all! Just adding a few comments to Lunnaei's.

Yes, very true that we're still looking for input! We've got a lot worked out, I think, but a lot is also still very fluid. Also please be patient with us! Neither of us have ever created or modded a game before. Closest either of us have come was when I was very minor helpstaff for Wake YEARS ago. So yeah, bear with us as we muddle through this. ^__^;;;

Also, another reason for getting a starting headcount - the first IC post/log is going to be everyone starting at once, but broken up and scattered a bit in small groups, so we need to know who all we'll have so we can be sure everyone's included in the log in one of the groups, and so that we can be sure that a player with more than one character doesn't wind up with more than one character in each group to avoid muncest.

Can you wait and decide to join the game after the fact and still be allowed the kept-CR and all? Or just join with one character and bring in another R/A character later with the same benefits? Sure! Just depending on the timing and what's going on just then, we might ask you to hold off a bit until we've finished establishing what we're doing at the time, so it'd be a timing issue, not a "can I at all" issue, especially in the first month or two.

As for my own characters, Thundercracker will definitely be there. Because I /am/ helping get things started, plus I'll be handling at least two NPC's, I haven't decided yet if I'll be bringing Deckard. Honestly, it'll partly depend on who else comes along. 9,9

Thanks! I have to say, I'm really nervous about this. I've been "running games" for years now, but they've all been PSL's with close friends. I've always wanted to do a community game before, just...didn't have anything that really felt like it would draw people. And then this...

I just couldn't let go, and it was the perfect way to start a game like I'd wanted, and yet be able to continue established CR. =3

I'm glad so many are interested/supportive, it means a lot.
