In coming minor Player plot?
In other words: Reasons WHY you should never leave Blackarachnia alone to do her own research for MONTHS at a time.
That reason being? Blackarachnia's been inspired to try her hand at a little biological weaponry and now needs to test it. What does this mean for the rest of the Haven? Well, she needs a wide base to test with.
You see, Blackarachia's created a virus strand that mimics the flu virus and affects bots. Lets call it the Robo-flu. She's also created an organic version as kind of a side project to cover basis really. Both viruses mimic the flu and last anywhere from 3 days, to 1 week. Symptoms include: Sore throat, coughing, headaches, aches and pains, nausea, vomiting ect ect... but, NONE OF IT LETHAL. At least, not the strand she's releasing in the populace anyway. [The lethal strand is reserved for their enemies.]
How is she releasing this? Strategically placed canister's timed to go off in every temple and pretty much every other heavily populated area with an airborne version of her creation. And just like she's created a virus, she's created a vaccine which, she will share with one or two medics that she trusts half way through the first week to deal with at their own ways. Which brings it to the second point why she's doing this. To make more bots realize the Medics are for more than just patching up a bot who decides to get themselves half way scrapped to the smelting pits.
What can I say? She has SEMI good intentions. Well, other than testing a potential weapon for any future enemies on her...er... fellow inhabitants.
With this in mind: Here are a few things for you to know:
1. THIS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. Have fun with it. It's completely the mun's choice whether or not to make their character's sick [Please do....]
2. Blackarachnia's very VERY good at covering her tracks. Meaning: very very little to no chance tracing this back to her. [For now]
3. When does this start? January 18th and goes to the end of the month. So it lasts for two weeks.
4. The Vaccine will be available [or at least handed off to medics half way through the first week] at some point
5. The viruses will have completely died out by the end of the month.
6. HAVE FUN. [ Blackarachnia will be sitting by with a clipboard recording everything like a good little scientist. ]
