Just letting y'all know I will be gone from later today to the 27th, as I am going on holiday with the family to Hawaii! Taggin' ain't gonna happen, but I should be popping in on mobile plurk now and then.

Feel free to assume Rapunzel is just hanging around in the medbay, waiting to heal any injured that come in (which is what she's been doing -w-).

Because I'm all out of copes right now

I know we're almost to the end as it is, but . . . I've been working 10+ hour days for the past three weeks. The past two days I've done close to 12 hours. Each. All for reasons. Not gonna bother getting into them here - they're nothing bad, just how the dominoes have fallen, etc. Thankfully, this madness should be letting up very soon. Like by the first part of next week . . . but then I have another "problem". I'll be pretty unreachable from Wednesday till the following Monday due to San Diego Comic-Con International.

Sooooooo calling a hiatus. I trust you guys - Thundercracker and Deckard are both up for grabs if you guys want to include them in things your characters are doing. Just link me to what they've gotten themselves into while I'm gone. And no killing them. Maiming is fine. XD

Hiatus

I know this couldn't come at a worse time. Unfortunately, this was a hiatus I knew months ago that I'd have no choice but to take.

From tomorrow (6/15) to 6/23, I will be on hiatus. My best friend/sister's bachelorette party and wedding (in which I am the maid of honor and thus responsible for making sure pretty much anything and everything gets done) is this week, and I will probably be both scarce and exhausted until it's all over. I have a lot of work ahead of me and a daunting/terrifying amount of hours to put into everything. Gotta make sure things go smoothly, look great, and that my bride doesn't panic too badly (which is probably inevitable anyways). To make matters even more demanding, I have family from out of town visiting, so between them and prepping and the party and more prepping and the wedding, I have my hands completely and utterly full.

With endgame near, I realize this hiatus is incredibly inopportune, despite it being absolutely necessary. So I do want you to know that while it's safe to assume Rapunzel will be doing her normal routines, if there's anything y'all want me to backtag into, I will be more than happy to do so. <3

Double-hiatus OH NOEZ

Hey, it's Dragon! I'm kidnapping Lunnaei (Wing-mun) for the weekend! Or she's kidnapping me - we haven't decided which. XD I'm doing this for both of us bc we didn't see a reason to spam the comm with two posts when it'd be the exact same content.

Anyway, we're taking off from our respective homes tomorrow morning and driving to a cottage we're renting in SLO County. Hearst Castle and the quaint little ~~tourist trap~~ town of Solvang are among the items on the itinerary, plus art, cooking, BPJD (she's the one who got me into it 8D), probably some RP'ing, playing with toys, and whatever other dorking around we decide to do. We'll be returning home(s) on Tuesday, probably getting back, like, early evening or something.

Lunnaei says the cottage has internet access, but IDK how much we'll be using it. Plurk and tags will be sporatic if they happen at all. JUST SO Y'ALL KNOW.

So yeah, I'll return everyone's favorite derpy knight (oh, yeah, and my derps too) Tuesday night if we're not both home too late to not just crash out before returning to work the next morning. Otherwise it'll be Wednesday.

Just gonna make this official...

Haven't managed tags in a few days, and now I've got an out-of-town friend coming in over the weekend, followed by likely a busy week. I might manage tags during work, but I can't count on that, and evenings/this weekend are out. So this is a possibly-slowatus-more-like-hiatus until probably next Friday, May 2nd.

As some people know, I'm in the process of moving. Nothing major really, just across town, but coupled with some things going on at work (performance reviews, an interview tomorrow for a new, higher-paying position), my stress levels are higher than I'd like, and Deckard and TC aren't talking much at the moment. >,<;;;

Until Wednesday of next week, Deckard is in the medbay thanks to Shattered!Ratchet, Thundercracker is concentrating on training his robolizards (with "playdates" with anyone else's who'd like to come play), and I'm clinging by the fingernails to my sanity.

Extending that hiatus a little

Got home yesterday afternoon and started something "just really quick" that has blossomed into an undertaking that took all of the afternoon and evening and will continue today. And it REALLY needs to be done - it's in relation to moving before the 22nd, ugh. Between that and what I expect work will look like tomorrow, I'm extending my hiatus until Wednesday. I AM giving myself that day off regardless of whatever else needs to be done, so I'll catch back up then.

Ugh...might as well do this /now/ then...

Seeing as I haven't managed to do much at all in the way of tags this week, won't tonight either as it turns out, and doubt I will manage tomorrow before packing to go out of town for the weekend...

Calling a brief hiatus. Leaving town Friday morning, will be back Sunday night, should be able to catch back up on All. The. Things. on Monday since I have that off too. (Originally, we weren't coming back till Monday so I took it off work). I'll be reachable by PM, which equals email notifs I can get on my phone, but doubt I'll have any time for tagging much if at all.

Should either of my characters be needed for something - especially something we've already talked about them doing - and I don't answer in a reasonable time to say "go ahead" - Saeru has god-mod rights to decide if it's okay to say he did whatever to get/keep things moving.

Back . . . uh . . . mostly

A lot of you already know this, but I'll drop this here for everyone else.

Got back from my trip just fine, but some family...not drama, that makes it sound like someone's doing something deliberate, but...stuff going on, shit that can't be helped - lots of stress and grieving going on - has been keeping me from managing tags. Deckard especially owes tags, like, EVRYWHAR. ~~TC and Deckard have both been going "come back when you're not so scary cranky D8" at me. OTL~~

I think things are finally settling, though. For me personally if nothing else. I'm aiming to finally start replying to tags this evening, if not today during breaks at work (via reply-by-email, so if you ever wonder at wonky formatting and extra space in my tags, that's why).

Deckard wonders how his mun can be so faily sometimes

So . . . the connection between my "going out of town to visit a friend this weekend" brain cell and my "kinda need internet to tag" brain cell just collided. And made me remember that I should probably say something, no? 8D;;;

Anyway, I'm leaving work early tomorrow to drive out of town to visit a friend for the weekend. She lives in the foothills ABOVE The Town in the Middle of Nowhere. She does have computer internet access, though I don't know how fast or slow it is - last time I visited her, she was still on dial-up (nothing better was available where she lives) and had to go into town for anything faster. That's been several years ago now, though, and I think it's changed? I'll find out. And I don't know what kind of service my phone will have. Various carriers have various reception. But we're probably going to be fairly busy anyway.

So I'm calling a slowatus at the very least. Probably full hiatus, but we'll see. I'll do my best to catch up all my tags tonight, but then I may not be able to again until after work on Monday. Safe to assume Altered!Thundercracker is either hanging with Skywarp or hiding ~~from Kagerou~~ in the Junkpile, and Deckard's following McCrane around ~~like a lost puppy~~ learning more about Haven and how things work here, and assisting with the investigations on Ravage's murder and where the Firstforged have disappeared to and any other cases that present themselves.

I'm probably not even going to bother with Plurk over the weekend, so if y'all need to get a hold of me for some reason, drop me a PM on one of my journals.

LIFE STRIKES... LIKE A VAST, PREDATORY BIRD

I'm going to be exhibiting in an expo in about a week which means I need to focus on getting my shit together. Additionally, Finals are also around the corner. Goddamnit what timing.

November is a busy month for me so I'll be needing to hiatus 1 or 2 weeks. I'll try to get back to posting when the expo's done, but it's very possible I may have to extend it to around mid-December if school drops the hammer of ruthless all-nighters on me.

Afterwords, I'll be able to tag around more with schoolwork out of the way!

I can get to previously planned event logs/posts but backtagging may be necessary. I'll be on AIM (tytaero2020) or plurk (tytaero) for anyone that wants to rough out what happens.

Slowatus

This weekend belongs to family doings starting tonight and culminating in a BIG birthday party for my grandmother on Sunday for her 85th. Out-of-town family coming in and everything. \o/ First time Nana will have both her daughters, both sons-in-law, and all her grandkids together in several years. <3

Will continue to tag when/if I can, but gonna be a LOT slower than it's been, so figured I should let people know. Should be back to normal on Monday sometime.

I'm sure some of you saw this coming, I'm going on Hiatus. In fact I kind of have been on a sort of unofficial hiatus recently.

I think I've figured out what has been killing my game motivation, but there is no cure for it but giving myself some time.

As a result I'm hiatusing until about the same time in Nov. I may also be dropping a number of threads and starting fresh when I come back, to help get myself sorted back out and rolling again. I think I can make this work without dropping any more characters, and I will try very hard *not* to, but I can't make promises on it.

I will be back in game toward the middle/end of November, see you all then.

I have come to the conclusion that I need to stop assigning essays, because then - then I have to GRADE them. All of them. By Thursday. And also create a midterm from scratch. No big, right? Right??

UGH I HATE TO DO THIS but I gotta hiatus for a few weeks.

Between several five-hour classes, CTN Expo around the corner, and some housing issues that just cropped up, I really need to spend a few weeks taking care of RL matters. Prowl will be continuing with the Shadowplay plot; Shockwave will be on autopilot analyzing his Predacon bone and doing other sciency things.

I'll be readily available on Plurk if you want to double check with me on any issues or ideas. Handwaving is fine.

I expect things will be back to some form of normalcy around October 5th. I'll get back to plot specific logs and things then.

Oy, okay, so . . . not as planned.

I work in the accounting department of a rather large company, the parent company for 40-50 other companies of various sizes - I myself handle the APs and some AR and sales reporting for six of them. And it all goes through one massive accounting program. Which is about to get one massive upgrade within the next month.

Found out in a meeting today that, before the upgrade goes live, there's a massive amount of testing of all areas of the various modules (one module per company) to make sure there won't be any hiccups or errors in our data before the upgrade goes live. The testing will be after regular work hours so we can concentrate on things without interruption or risking entering things into the wrong version of the program. All in all, I'm looking at 10-hour days starting on Monday for the next two weeks, possibly three. Which pretty much kills the rest of the month.

Also...I have a confession to make. The past few days, I've taken advantage of my downtime after work to finally check out an anime I've been kinda interested in for a while now, thanks to characters in this game. Aaaaand I now have a fun, new obsession as Brave Police J-Decker plot bunnies take over what brain I have left over from work. O.O

SO . . . extending my hiatus while I ~~beat plot bunnies into submission~~ deal with longer work days. I should be back around the 1st, hopefully sooner. Due to the age of all existing activity, unless someone specifically tells me there's a thread you'd like to continue (which I'll be more than happy to do!), I'm going to go ahead and let standing tags go and just start "fresh" when I get back in later. Sorry, guys...but I get to feeling behind kinda quickly as it is with my usual level of activity. 9,9

Mods, I know AC is coming up - um, tomorrow? I'll be sure to hit that when it does. Pretty sure TC'll pass. We'll see how he does for the next go-round, though. orz

Okay, OKAY, Life, I get it...

Last week was busy, though I managed to kinda keep up with tags. Weekend was slightly less busy but with longer days. This week's even busier, with a side of crazy. Nothing bad at all, just the way things have fallen into place. But still . . . busy workdays = brainless evenings. Which means brain goes NOPING away when it comes to trying to tag, among other things.

So . . . I'm not even going to fight it. Gonna call a hiatus at least until - and possibly through - the weekend.

Hiatus

I'm moving across state at the end of this month to be closer to my parents as they grow more elderly and in need of care. My mother is a diabetic and fourth year stroke survivor and my father, her current caregiver, is on the slow downside towards Alzheimer's. I've also been suffering some RP burnout that's made it hard to be active of late.

Further, because I've been dealing with a lot of helplessness and failure in RL on different fronts this year, it makes the game's current tone and similar themes hard for me to deal with. Of course people can play what they want and I do not begrudge them their drama if they want it, but if the current trend continues I don't think it's the right place for me and my muse. There's nothing he can do in any of this and it's gone way beyond the level of what's fun drama for me.

I'll be on extended hiatus for at least month and will reevaluate come mid September once the move is done.
